Overview

Poke N' Ramen, located in Arnold, MD, offers a vibrant fusion of fresh poke bowls and rich ramen dishes that satisfy cravings for both light and hearty meals. The restaurant skillfully balances Japanese flavors with Hawaiian influences, presenting a menu that invites customization and bold tastes in an unpretentious yet thoughtfully styled setting.

Their poke bowls stand out for their freshness and harmony. Signature options like the Salmon Lover bowl layer textures with creamy avocado, crunchy edamame, and flavorful black pepper sauce without overwhelming the palate. The Green Bowl showcases a refreshing, fruit-forward profile, mixing mango and pineapple with kale and honey mango sauce. Notably, the bowls avoid excessive rice, allowing each ingredient’s character to shine. Customers who enjoy variety appreciate the option to double up on proteins, as the portions of fish are generous but balanced.

Ramen lovers will find an inviting selection that feels both authentic and innovative. The House Special Ramen combines chashu, grilled chicken, and shrimp tempura in a savory tonkotsu broth rich with depth. The Bay Hills Udon introduces a satisfying twist with shrimp tempura and beef layered in a fish broth, offering a textural counterpoint to the noodles. Build-your-own noodle options enhance the experience with personalized flair.

The dining experience is elevated by attentive and genuinely warm service. Staff members, particularly Mae as mentioned by longtime patrons, cultivate a welcoming atmosphere that treats guests like family while honoring custom requests without hesitation. This flexibility extends beyond the menu, accommodating broth swaps and extra sauces to tailor each dish perfectly.

Though the space reflects an eclectic charm—with Roman columns juxtaposed against Asian art—the focus remains firmly on delivering quality food and comfort. Its appeal is broad, drawing in lovers of poke, ramen enthusiasts, and those seeking fresh, thoughtful meals in an approachable environment. Whether visiting for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, Poke N' Ramen offers a satisfying blend of freshness, flavor, and personalized care that resonates with the local community and visitors alike.

Tasty poke bowl for a good price! Appreciated that they didn’t over rice the bowl so it didn’t overtake the other flavors. Staff was willing to add extra sauces and ginger to the bowl which made the experience even better! Avocado up-charge is always worth it though!

My husband and I absolutely love Poking Ramen! Mae always takes such great care of us. Every time we come in, she goes above and beyond to make our experience special. We have a bit of a unique order — we always ask for the ramen without the noodles (I know, ramen without ramen — LOL!) — but Mae never makes us feel like a bother. She always customizes our meals perfectly, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. On top of that, Mae is such a joy to deal with — warm, friendly, and attentive. It’s rare to find a place that treats you like family, but Poking Ramen and Mae truly do just that. Highly recommend!

I've had their ramen and poke bowls. The poke bowls are great and what I usually order. Everything always tastes fresh and they pack the bowl to the brim. They don't put a lot of protein in your bowl so I'd recommend ordering two protein sources if you like a bit of fish in every bite like I do. The ramen is much improved since when they first opened. The broth is flavorful and the house ramen comes with a variety of meats. It's a huge serving so the bowl makes two meals for me.

Pretty good. For the area the ramen is tasty and they are generous with the portions. No drink machine so you can only get bottle stuff. Interior decoration is kinda funny, the restaurant is a former Greek place so there's Roman columns with Chinese paintings and then Japanese text. Liked it alot and have been back twice and will continue to visit. Pictured is the udon with tonkotsu broth, chashu, scallions and onions with an egg.

We moved out of the area before we had the chance to try your restaurant, so today while visiting family, we w decided to give you a try. You were so friendly and patient and even accommodated a food change request!!! My husband and I once we received our food and drink, were blown away by the freshness and the depth of flavor in your items! My husband got the spicy tuna poke bowl, and I got the bay hills udon noodle bowl with tempura shrimp. She allowed me to change the broth from fish broth to tonkontsu broth! And the mango slushes??? Fresh mango pieces all throughout! It was absolutely delicious! 20/10 recommend and will definitely recommend you to our friends and family that live down there still. We will absolutely come back!

Fresh, steaming hot, and great service. Much better than those bleh, copycat chains. Got the fish broth udon noodles with tempura shrimp ramen. She left the tempura out so it remained very crunchy and fresh.
